When Shani Maharaj enters the last house from the birth moon, then the Sade Sati will starts. The duration of this Sade Sati is seven and a half years, that is, from the time it starts, its effect will remain for seven and a half years. Shani stays in a house for two and a half years. So shani transit the previous house of the Moon, it will be the first Sade Sati of Shani. When Shani is in the house of natal Moon then second part of Sade Sati will happen and when it is in second house from natal Moon then third part of Sade Sati will happen.
